The Boodles Boxing Ball charity bash was given major kudos back in 2008 when a glamorous-looking Kate Middleton arrived on the arm of Prince William.
And it’s now become a high society hot ticket, with a host of royals and stars attending this year’s event. And guess who was stealing the limelight (again)? Yup,Pippa Middleton, who looked amazing in a backless halter neck pleated colour block Catherine Deane gown.
Pip worked bronzed skin and makeup, and her signature half-up hairdo, and was accompanied by her suave boyfriend, Nico Jackson, dapper in a black tux.
And, it appeared, it was a right Royal knees up, with mum-to-be Zara Philips showing off her bump in a blue gown, Princess Beatrice glittering in a gold jacket, and Prince Harry looking super-smart in a fitted back suit.
Yesterday we were fussing over how AMAZING Holly Willoughby looks dipped head to toe in silver paint for her latest Oral B campaign.
But today’s a new day and this time we’re more interested in how Holly manages to work a tres dressed down outfit and still look red hot.
Holly was spotted on Wednesday en route to studios in London to film a new series of Celebrity Juice, alongside her gal pal and fellow panellist Fearne Cotton. While Fearne, who’s just come back from mat leave, rocked a funky Sixites vibe, Holly opted for an altogether more casual look.
The 32-year-old mum of two chose dark skinnies, a pretty blue silk blouse and a simple blazer to hot foot it to the studios. She added chic accessories in the form of an oversized tote and printed slingbacks. Proof to us that if you’ve got natural style oozing from your pores, you can wear the most simplistic of ensembles and still look great. Styling with minimal effort? We’re all over it.
We’re all for the dressed down trend – looking immaculate ALL the time is a major ball ache and takes serious stamina.
Pippa Middleton is well practiced at dress up but when it comes to casual-cool? Er *looks to the side uncomfortably*. Although she’s opted for monochrome here, the racer back top, high-waisted skirt and Converse combo don’t quite say breezy West London street style.
Swap the black skirt (too dressy for day wares) for a pair of denims and Pippa, you’re golden.
Pip was also clocked out with her stockbroker man Nico Jackson this week – the two are sure to announce engagement news over the next few months according to friends and THAT means a society wedding is on the cards. Our favourite kind.
The Saturdays were spotted outside Radio 1’s BBC studios on Monday afternoon and for the first time in weeks, all five members of the group turned up together.
Yes, the girls looked lovely, but this was also a reminder that The Saturdays aren’t just The Saturdays anymore. Here’s how these twenty-something girls roll nowadays…
1. Frankie (who sadly missed out on wearing hot pants and a fringed bra at V Festival over the weekend) is definitely engaged (check out that ring!) and definitely pregnant. Her S Club 8 days are well and truly over.
2. Rochelle and Una aboth arrived at the studios with their (very cute) baby girls. They also took the opportunity to prove that yes, they are the yummiest mummies in pop.
3. Mollie is still blonde, beautiful and loves to carry her trusty brown leather tote. (No babies to report, just yet).
4. And Vanessa? She arrived wearing matchy-matchy print, carrying a Balenciaga, handbag wearing her hair in a top knot. The Sats most stylish member?

It’s not that often Amanda Seyfried gets to go to a screening of her new film,Lovelace, without her co-star, Sharon Stone, who seems to have made it her mission to outshine Amanda at (nearly) every turn.
But Ms Seyfried came into her own at the special London screening of the movie at the Mayfair Hotel on Monday.
She was super-pretty in her navy sparkle-spotted Gucci shirt dress, which featured a buttoned-up neckline.
But, further down, the dress became rather more risqué when it revealed a sheer, peekaboo skirt.
A loose, low updo, Givenchy heels, and Amanda’s signature red lip finished the look to perfection. We love.
The new film documents the story of Linda Lovelace, who is used and abused by the porn industry and her husband, before taking control of her own life.
